My name is Lisa, in "chinglish" it would be SumYeikLei. I was born on June 3rd, 1991. I was born a twin, which meant I shared everything. I am Vietnamese&Chinese. I got out of the hospital 2 weeks later. We were premature, and I sure was underweight. I'm not suppose to be walking the earth today, but I would have to thank my grandparents. My grandma named me and my sister, "Beautiful". I guess that's where they got May and Lisa from, it's close, kind of. I can't go complaining about everything in my life, because it's made me who I am. All I can truely say is, I've lived a hard life, but.. others have gone through worse. I dont have the love of family, but I do have my friends. I can't say I have a bestfriend for I lost them in the past, and haven't got myself a new one since. I guess I'd have to say my family supports me. They feed me, gives me shelter, and put cloths on my back. They also wish I was an A+ student though. I try my best, but my best seems to be only an A-. I'm not a happy person, I'd have to admit, but I learned a lot from so much. Just going to have to love life the way it is....

What is Buddhism?
Buddhism is a religion to about 300 million people around the world. The word comes from 'budhi', 'to awaken'. It has its origins about 2,500 years ago when Siddhartha Gotama, known as the Buddha, was himself awakened (enlightened) at the age of 35.
Was the Buddha a God?
He was not, nor did he claim to be. He was a man who taught a path to enlightenment from his own experience
Are Other Religions Wrong?
Buddhism is also a belief system which is tolerant of all other beliefs or religions. Buddhism agrees with the moral teachings of other religions but Buddhism goes further by providing a long term purpose within our existence, through wisdom and true understanding. Real Buddhism is very tolerant and not concerned with labels like 'Christian', 'Moslem', 'Hindu' or 'Buddhist'; that is why there have never been any wars fought in the name of Buddhism. That is why Buddhists do not preach and try to convert, only explain if an explanation is sought.
Is Buddhism Scientific?
Science is knowledge which can be made into a system, which depends upon seeing and testing facts and stating general natural laws. The core of Buddhism fit into this definition, because the Four Noble truths (see below) can be tested and proven by anyone in fact the Buddha himself asked his followers to test the teaching rather than accept his word as true. Buddhism depends more on understanding than faith.
